The warranty lasts 5 years and covers manufacturing defects and/or non-conformities. During the 5-year period, the mattress will be repaired or replaced free of charge with the same or a similar item (if out of production), upon return of the defective product. For more information click here.

The mattress should only be placed on a slatted wooden base or a breathable rigid surface to ensure proper ventilation and horizontal positioning. Old metal mesh bed bases or damaged bases are not suitable. If the mattress is damaged due to being used on an improper base, it will not be covered by the warranty.

Order and Payment

You can place an order directly on our website, or by phone at +39 055 8985516 or via email at info@chiardiluna.com.
If ordering online, select the desired width and length to view the price. Then you can confirm your purchase by paying with a credit card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
Orders placed by phone or email can only be paid by bank transfer.

Before placing a mattress order, carefully check the required size.
Use a rigid measuring tape, remove the current mattress from the bed and measure both the width and length of the bed base or slatted frame.
When measuring a slatted base, also include the side rails for an accurate measurement.
Your bed and base might have non-standard dimensions, so this step is essential to avoid ordering the wrong size.
Do not use soft measuring tapes or rely on the old mattress, which may have deformed over time.

Creating an account is optional and can be done during checkout if desired.

Yes, you can cancel your order by contacting our customer service via email or phone within 4 hours of purchase.

If you have a promotional code or coupon, enter it in the designated box under the total price, either in the cart or at checkout.
Click "Apply Coupon" and the system will automatically update the price with the discount.
Only one coupon can be used per purchase.

You can pay using the following methods:

  • Advance bank transfer: in this case, we will ask you to transfer the total amount, indicating the order number, via bank transfer to our account. Once we have received the payment, we will ship the mattress.

Yes, you can request delivery on a specific day.
This service is free of charge, available only in the morning, and you can choose any weekday from Monday to Friday.
Please note, however, that this option does not include a phone call from the courier in advance.

We compress and roll memory foam mattresses to make delivery more practical and faster, but don’t worry: this won’t affect quality. In fact, it makes it easier to transport the mattress by elevator or stairs—even narrow ones. Once unpacked and returned to its original shape, it will offer the comfort and support you’re looking for!

Of course! You can sleep on the mattress the very first night.
Once opened, wait about an hour for the mattress to fully regain its shape. Then you can put on the sheets and enjoy your perfect mattress.
Keep in mind that every new mattress needs a bit of adjustment, so it might take 15–20 days to reach optimal comfort.
A slight smell may be present when first opened—mainly due to the new fabric—and will fade within a few days.

No.
Couriers are currently not allowed to collect used items due to health and safety regulations.

If you can’t reuse the old mattress, contact your local waste collection service for instructions on free pickup and disposal. If the mattress is still in good condition, you might reuse it in another home, give it to a friend, or donate it to a charity or nonprofit to help those in need.

Orders are delivered within 10 working days, depending on the delivery area.
Once payment has been confirmed (immediately with credit card, or upon receipt in the case of a bank transfer), products will be shipped.
For islands, delivery may take up to 15 working days.

No, at present couriers do not carry items upstairs due to health regulations. Delivery is at street level.
If needed, ask for help—boxes may weigh between 17 and 39 kg depending on the mattress size.

Memory foam mattresses are vacuum-packed and placed in easy-to-carry boxes. Delivery takes 5 to 10 business days (15 days for islands), depending on location. Spring mattresses are packed in boxes of varying sizes. All mattresses are new and ready for delivery.
You’ll receive a shipping confirmation email. Delivery is currently at street level.
Chiardiluna accessories will be delivered in a separate package.
Chiardiluna pillows will be delivered in a separate package.
We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time on the day of delivery, but our shipping service is very reliable.
If you are not home, the courier will leave a notice with contact details so you can arrange a second attempt.
For islands and remote areas, delivery may take up to 15 business days.

Mattresses

To identify the winter or summer side of your mattress, check the label marked "winter side" or "summer side" on one of the two surfaces: this will tell you which side to use depending on the season. Some products, such as memory foam mattresses, don’t have a seasonal side. In that case, just sleep on the side labeled "memory side."

Remove the cover and wash it at a maximum of 40°C using a gentle cycle, without spin-drying.
Let it air dry, avoiding direct sunlight.
Do not use a dryer or fabric softener.
If the inner foam gets stained, clean it with a slightly damp sponge and a small amount of mild neutral detergent.

There is no one-size-fits-all mattress. We recommend our ergonomic memory foam mattresses with high density: KS and HD.

There is no universally ideal model. We recommend a mattress from the ergonomic line, with high-density memory foam and excellent breathability. These products are designed to relieve muscle pain and back problems and are certified as Class 1 medical devices.

The firmness level depends mainly on personal preferences and body type. For more support, we recommend pocket spring mattresses. For greater comfort and balance, memory foam mattresses are ideal.
Also consider your sleeping position: side sleepers should choose a softer mattress, while back and stomach sleepers may benefit from a firmer one.

A mattress for children should be medium-firm to properly support bone and muscle development. It should be hypoallergenic, removable, and washable.
When buying a mattress for kids, also make sure to check the bed size, headboard, and any side rails.

To remove stains from a mattress with a non-removable cover, gently rub the fabric with a damp sponge and a small amount of mild detergent.
Avoid using steam cleaners, beaters, chemical agents, or solvents.

There is no difference: independent springs are also known as pocket springs because each is enclosed in a breathable and hypoallergenic fabric pocket.

Rotate the mattress head-to-foot every three months to maintain comfort and performance, and air out the room weekly.
Leave the bed uncovered to allow moisture to evaporate, preventing microorganism buildup.
Do not expose the product directly to sunlight and keep it away from heat sources.
To preserve it well, we recommend using a mattress protector.

Each mattress should be replaced after 10–12 years for hygiene reasons. However, if your mattress has visible indentations, is damaged, or if you’ve been sleeping poorly for several weeks, these are clear signs that it’s time to replace it.

Mattress Bases

Thanks to their breathability, support, and elasticity, our memory foam mattresses adapt to any structure: slatted bases, electric bases, or upholstered sommier bases.
These supports must be flat and free from indentations.
Old metal bed bases are not suitable for our memory foam mattresses, as they can create uncomfortable indentations and invalidate the warranty. We recommend replacing them with a modern alternative.
You may place the mattress directly on the floor, provided it is a clean and dry area.
However, for optimal performance, we recommend placing it on a solid slatted base—the best support for maximum ergonomics and effective breathability.
If you use an old base or sommier, check that it doesn't show any signs of sagging or indentation, which could seriously compromise mattress performance.

Yes, the base can damage the mattress.
If the base has indentations or unusual sagging, the mattress may also sag, reducing comfort and risking permanent damage over time, which will void the warranty.

Slatted bases with a motorized system allow for a more comfortable and pleasant rest, letting you tilt the bed to your preferred angle. This helps alleviate issues caused by acid reflux or allows you to elevate your legs to support blood circulation.
These bases must be used only with Memory Foam or ergonomic foam mattresses, as pocket spring mattresses may get damaged when bent.

Pillows

Pillows should be replaced every 3 years, primarily for hygiene reasons, as they are more exposed to moisture from the neck and head.

Choosing a pillow depends on your sleeping position.
If you sleep on your back, an orthopedic model is recommended, while the classic "soap bar" shape is better for side sleepers.
For those who sleep on their stomach, we suggest a very low pillow to avoid straining the neck area.

Generally, only the cover should be washed, never the inside, if it is removable.
Proper ventilation, without direct sunlight, is recommended periodically.

If you suffer from neck pain, we recommend using a memory foam pillow.
