Each Chiardiluna mattress is made to last, and with a few precautions you can keep it like new for many years. When you receive your mattress, remove the protective plastic and let it air out: the new smell will fade quickly. Use a high-quality slatted bed base with a central support to ensure that the warranty remains valid. We also recommend airing out the mattress and the bedroom weekly, rotating the mattress head-to-foot monthly, avoiding direct sunlight exposure, preventing spills, and not using electric blankets.

Mattress cleaning

The mattress should always be protected from water and other liquids. We recommend using a mattress protector and gently cleaning your Chiardiluna mattress with a vacuum cleaner to keep it in optimal condition. In case of stains, if the mattress is not removable, use a small amount of neutral, gentle detergent and cold water. Removable covers should be washed following the care instructions on the mattress. Avoid soaking the mattress or base with dry cleaning fluids, and do not use steam machines or beaters, as this could damage the cover materials and compromise the functionality of the mattress, as well as void the warranty.
